Mini Summer Film Festival 2026
POSTPONED to Saturday, February 13, 2027!
The summer is proving to be very busy for folks and we only received a handful of submissions, so we are postponing our event until next year! We love the idea of having the fest around Valentine’s Day, which seems to be a sweet spot for an event like this (pun intended). If you’ve already submitted, we will keep your submission unless you ask us to remove it. Otherwise, please save the new dates, and help spread the word!

Decision Date: January 15, 2027
Festival Date: Saturday, February 13, 2027
MATINEE BLOCK (12-3pm)

12:30pm - 2:00pm: BLOCK 1 Films, Filmmaker Q & A, Audience Choice Voting
2:00pm - 2:15pm: Intermission
2:15pm - 2:45pm: Producer & Filmmaker Discussion: The Business of Filmmaking
2:45pm - 3:00pm: Raffle Winners & Audience Choice
EVENING BLOCK (3-6pm)
Doors open at 3pm: Raffle, Concessions, Photos, Networking
3:30pm - 5pm: BLOCK 2 Films, Filmmaker Q & A, Audience Choice Voting
5pm - 5:15pm: Intermission
5:15pm - 5:45pm: Producer & Filmmaker Discussion: The Business of Filmmaking
5:45pm - 6pm: Raffle Winners & Audience Choice
6pm - 8pm: Post Event Party & Networking
Our festival event will take place on Saturday, February 13, 2027 at ArtSpace Hiawatha Lofts near the International District (843 Hiawatha Place S. Seattle, WA 98144). There is limited neighborhood parking near venue AND ample parking

Our mini fest will be big fun as we gather in community to watch and discuss great films, discuss the business side of film making and distribution, and enjoy a signature Lavender Love cocktail and other concessions. We will have a Q&A with the filmmakers, raffle prizes, and a cash award for audience choice film.

Our first annual "For the Love of Film" mini festival will take place on Valentine's Day weekend on Sunday, February 15, at ArtSpace Hiawatha Lofts near the International District (843 Hiawatha Place S. Seattle, WA 98144)
Our mini fest will be big fun as we gather in community to watch great films, dip from the mini chocolate fountain, and perhaps enjoy a signature Lavender Love cocktail and other concessions. We will have a Q&A with the filmmakers and have some giveaways, raffle prizes, and a cash award for audience choice.
